A U.S. airliner nearly collided with a drone over Florida in March of this year, the Federal Aviation Administration said Friday. An American Airlines pilot told officials he came too close to a “small remotely piloted aircraft” more than 2,000 feet above the ground near Tallahassee Regional Airport in Florida on March 22.
