A beautiful fall morning walk and watched in awe thousands of Canadian Geese take off from the ponds. Nature is pretty incredible. Synchronized perfection. They take turns marshalling down to the pond. Swim to the East side, wait for the call (literally) then in small groups take off in a flurry of flight. Next group holds in place, then they are off. A gaggle of protectors ring the far side of the pond keeping watch. They bark orders from the sideline and more groups get into place. Ive never seen it before and it was pretty awesome to witness. I was tempted to let Harley off the leash and watch thousands go up at once! That would have been a wicked photo but Im not that mean! The best part was watching them take off then quickly work towards the V formation. Teamwork at its finest. Wow.
