A contractor on oDesk just emailed me to ask for a favour and change my star rating and feedback for their work. I gave them 4 stars and they have asked me to give them 5 as it was a little misunderstanding. This contractor made a serious mistake that cost me both time and money. I explained that what they consider to be a small mistake has affected my business and that in all good conscious I could not risk the same thing happening to another client. My tip is to always give true star ratings and feedback on outsourcing platforms such as oDesk and Elance.
