A woman has died following a collision in Altrincham. It happened at around 5.15pm when a 49-year-old woman was riding her pedal cycle along Moss Lane in an easterly direction when she collided with a pedestrian. She was taken to hospital where she sadly died yesterday, Sunday 4 January 2015. PC Neil Pennington from GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Our thoughts and sympathies go out to this woman’s family who are being supported by specially trained officers at this tragic time. “We have launched an investigation to establish the circumstances leading up to the collision.
