A great afternoon in the swimming pool saw us host a six schools gala with 24 teams entered in both U16 and U18 girls and boys age groups. The competition was fierce with some very fine swimming demonstrated. Our U16 team finished in first place defeating all the rivals. Special congratulations go to Georgie Lane for breaking the school U16 50m freestyle record and the U16 freestyle relay team of Faye Ashton Rigby, Emily Mitchell, Georgie Lane and Cathy Chan who also broke the record. The U18 team completed a very good afternoon with a second place overall. Very good swimming girls!
