A little long but please read! To all who have been following WonGeneration these past years, it seems like an absolute whirlwind…but God has been doing such amazing things it continues to bring me to my knees in both a sense of awe, of wonder, of amazement, and in recognition of His Grace and the need for His provision. None of our growth has been based on anything “we” have done but entirely on what He has been doing and we have been blessed to be along for the ride. In the process, Abba has stretched many of us much farther than we thought imaginable and taught us so much about His Son! Grace has been poured out and we have grown because of it. At this time last year, we were moving forward with more projects in Thailand, just starting to work on WonGen Central Community Services, and had just been invited to be part of a ministry in Uganda. One year later…the Foundation in Thailand is a legal entity and there are multiple active Thai ministries and the avenues for more, WonGen Central opened its doors to families, and we now find ourselves in two different ministries in three African nations, Uganda, Rwanda, and Burkina Faso. And we are no the doorway of new ministry ventures in Washington State and in both Central and South America. We are also developing relationships with numerous churches which understand our passion for each person doing something in their community and are allowing us to help their congregation to move out into that community. And this coming year our child sponsorship program will roll out in full swing. Yes, 2014 has been amazing. And we need your help to finish this year strong and be ready for 2015. Please pray about supporting WonGeneration prayerfully and financially this year and into the coming year. We recognize that what we do is often behinds the scene and it isn’t easy to generate funds without resorting to parading out children in need or women who have been trafficked. And we don’t really want to do that. We struggle with how much of the story we should tell so we do not fall into a path of using their hardship to raise funds. We do not want to guilt people into giving. But we also recognize that if we don’t ask, if we don’t make our needs known, how will people know to fill them? If we don’t let people know what we are doing, how will they feel good about their donations? So, in these last weeks of 2014, we are asking you to consider giving to WonGeneration. Please go to our website, wongeneration.org and click on the donate page. And thank you for your continued prayers! Those prayers have seen us through amazing growth and everyone of you who have prayed for us share in each and every story! Thank you!
