A number of years ago a man came into a church and after the service gave his life to Christ. As he left that night the pastor congradulated him on his new life and told him that God could do anything. A few weeks later the man came to the pastor and told him he was in great need of $100.00 but had no way of getting the money. The pastor eager to expand the mans new founded faith, told him to send his request to God. The next morning the new convert not knowing just where to send his request, decided to write God a letter and send it to the White House in Washington DC. A few days later a White House worker recieved the mans request and thought it amusing so for fun he pulled out a $10.00 bill from his wallot and stuffed it in an envolpe and mailed it back to the man. Some days later the man recieved the letter from the White House with the ten dollar bill in it and was thankful at least part of his request had been answered. The next Sunday the pastor inquired about the new converts request and the man shared his story. He then told the pastor that he had learned somthing through the process. He told the pastor, Im thankful God answered my prayer, but next time Im not going through that bunch in Washington, they kept $90.00!!
