A request has been made to the Bracken County School Board to permanently rename the football field Joe Seavers Memorial Field. This page will serve as one of support for this endeavor. We ask that you share this page with all students, teachers and school workers during Mr. Seavers tenure as principal of Bracken County High School. Please LIKE the page and enter your name and year of graduation into the comments, or your position (teacher, school employee, parent, etc). We will submit this information ,as support ,to the school board as part of our packet. Mr. Seavers passed away on July 15, 2014. Not only was he an educator, principle and role model for all, he was an Active member of the Kentucky High School Athletics Association serving in many capacities , primarily a football referee. His love for football was shown through his dedication as a referee from 1965-1989,for this reason we felt this was the best way we could recognize his contributions not only to our school , but to a generation of students.
