A sample of this afternoons workout. After a good legs session, this is a killer finisher; 10 dynamic lunges (or static if you prefer not to jump), followed by 10 lunge pulses on your right leg, immediately followed by 10 reps on your left. Thats one set. Aim for 3 sets or above. Your quads are SCREAMING at you by the end of it. Focus on squeezing your glutes as you rise up in the lunge. Chest proud, shoulders back, bracing your core at all times. Then... Hold a static lunge and hammer curl up for 4 seconds followed by a quick jab & then lower down for 4 seconds. The focus is generating the energy for the punch from your chest, not your arm. Complete 6 to 8 reps on one side & then swap arms. 3 sets in total. You can do this move with a resistance band too. I love compound exercises where you are working a number of muscle groups (and joints) at the same time. Enjoy & let me know how you go.
