A small occasional/end table I built for some dear friends. The table is constructed from documented, 130+ year old Franklin County, MS virgin heart pine. I used mortise and tenon joinery for the apron and legs and biscuits for the table top. The table top also features a 30 degree beveled edge. The legs have a two sided, 15 degree inside taper. The finish is four coats of hand rubbed Minwax Antique Oil. This is some of the most beautiful lumber that Ive ever seen much less worked with...the table is destined to be a family heirloom.
