A volunteer writes: Kilo had me at first glance; this gorgeous boy was making eyes at me from his arrival kennel, letting me know he was ready for a walk. Not being one to resist a handsome face, I leashed him and out we went. Skipping as soon as we were out of the building, and then taking care of business, it seems that our boy is housetrained. His tail wags, his smile lights up his face, and his butt wiggles as we meet new people. This is one friendly and happy boy!! His weight is perfect for his size, his nails are trimmed, and although it looks like he may have splashed through some muddy water in his journey to us, this is a well taken care of boy. Kilo zig zags on the leash a bit, showing enthusiasm for everything he sees in his new environment. Off leash in the back yard Kilo is happiest in my lap, snuggling, kissing and squirming in as close as he can for optimum petting. When a staff member comes to meet him she gets the same treatment....love me, pet me, hug me! He greeted other dogs who stopped by to investigate with an appropriate wave of his tail. I took Kilo out again before I left (a spot reserved for my favorites), and he was thrilled to be able to relieve himself before settling down for the night. We sat in the hallway as his kennel was being cleaned, Kilo snuggling in my lap as staff came by to meet him. Hes pretty irresistible, happy to make new friends, thrilled for an additional ear scratch and enjoying the attention. Kilo is looking for his forever lap; come meet him and see if he will fit in yours!
