A worthy request. See if any would like to participate! Hello, My name is Michaela Murray and I am currently studying for a MSc in Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience at Goldsmiths, University of London.I have a great interest in learning more about the origins of neurodevelopmental disorders and what can be done to improve treatment, especially early intervention strategies. I have decided to focus my research dissertation on Autism Spectrum Disorders, and will be conducting a study which seeks to explore the correlates of the core social impairments observed in children with autism.Participants will include parents of children with an autism diagnosis between the ages of 5 and 10. Participation involves the completion of 3 parent-report questionnaires and so children will not need to take part. All participants will be entered in a prize draw for a chance to win a 100euro/£100 M&S voucher or $100 Macy’s voucher. I am writing to you in the hope that you may be able to assist me with getting information about the project to parents who may be interested in participating. It would be great if you could post the project link via your social networking site. Anything at all you could do to help would be greatly appreciated. The questionnaires can be completed as hard copies (please email to request) or filled out online by copying and pasting the following link into your URL facebook/l/xAQHiAD3JAQGuVFj2OEQBsVom5cr_MKRzjY8wOsG-G86aQA/ww3.unipark.de/uc/Team_Hill/f684 Ethical approval has been granted by the Psychology Department Ethics Committee at Goldsmiths, University of London and a full report of the research findings will be available to participants who are interested. I have attached a copy of the participant information with this email, which should include all the information you need but please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for your time, Best wishes, Michaela
