***AGELESS DEVOTION*** 10 year old Howard could be the Poster Child for pet neglect! He arrived at the Staten Island ACC as a “stray” with a horribly matted coat and nails that had not been trimmed in a loooong time. Howard has good reason to resent humans but just the opposite is true! Howard is a sweet, happy man always ready with tail wags – especially if they lead to a good snuggle! Howard would do best in a home with no children as he has demonstrated some ‘food guarding’. Howard has moved on from his past and is ready for his brighter future! Howard’s ‘stray hold’ will be up tomorrow (1/24), please share Howard the Optimist for his perfect place!
