ALL ANIMALS ARE EQUAL BUT SOME ARE MORE EQUAL THAN OTHERS including Slaves/SPIES Once a spy always a perfect one. Should any immunity be given to Ssejusa; if its true that he is back, I resign this thinking. If he wronged my president, he can be forgiven by my him but I think he could have wronged Uganda, thus, our country’s legal infrastructure must be used while trying his innocence. I initially posited on social media that Ssejusa was playing an inter-Foreign Policy for Museveni and many might have not believed me. This successful return is a fair test of our democracy and interpretation of the rot of our legal regime replaced by big individuals serving as institutions if he is left free with acute immunity without trial either in the General Court Martial or civilian courts. I am a democrat who believe in equality. Yesterday’s pronouncement over the return of my friend Ssejusa and fellow citizen was received with joy. I must say that he is welcome back home if its true any way that he is back home. Hope all what had taken him to exile have been addressed by the Kampala regime. Hope he will continue the spirited efforts of building Uganda into a strong democracy. I at first thought it was a reconciliation move my tired several generations president had begun. I later developed critical second mind thinking over the return. I tried to justify his innocence and later knew that it was a bait. First was that my president had achieved to kill the opposition by taking 2 years diversionary discussion on Ssejusa not opposition just like he did on the REBEL MPs and now Amama Mbabazi. I recalled the VJ Jingo slogan Ka’Film KAKATANDIKA Butandissi. This is the highest peak of strong patronage network build on a young would be pretending democracy. If his innocence is pronounced today, yet many security establishments have been overheard saying that he was a wanted man, I may be forced to think that another KING of KINGs and a historic King Louis XVI who determines what is legal has emerged in the Banana Republic. To me, if he returns, good democratic practices requires that he be put before the law and the Courts of law must be the ones to prove his innocence. In this I do not claim that he is either guilty or innocent. I think it kills our institutions further if he is made what he is by virtue of presidential pronouncement or deals between him (Ssejusa) and my president (YK Museveni). If this happens, then the belief that “ALL THINGS ARE LEGAL IF I WISH IT” shall apply to my president of the banana republic. A community is democratic only when the humblest and weakest person can enjoy the highest civil, economic, and social rights that the biggest and most powerful possess. Can this presidential clique immunity happen to any man or woman in Uganda. Imagine a chicken thief beaten and jailed for years. Political immunity can kill democracy. But I have hope at the end of the tunnel there will be re-liberation of Uganda. I am always moved by the thinking of Calvin Coolidge that there is no force so democratic as the force of an ideal. George W. Bush in one memorable speech said, all nations have a mission and that mission comes from our most basic beliefs. We have no desire to dominate, no ambitions of empire. Our aim is a democratic peace; a peace founded upon the dignity and rights of every man and woman. I wish such spirited political immunity is cascaded and replaced with a system and mechanism where all institutions work, all people are equal and free and not as the Animal Firm puts in the subject of my posting that all animals are equal but some are more equal than others. The Uganda I see, I never expected the Kigezi man to be returning. I see things worsening. Its a poor sort of memory that only works backwards. But I am motivated by the move of the Spy chief (I have never heard him replaced as it was in Parliament) that he has now opted to engage his former boss democratically in Uganda than mere words on BBC. He now leads by example. You know, never tell people how to do things. Tell them what to do and they will surprise you with their ingenuity. I sympasise wuth Ugandans who once believed him, engaged with him and now he informs the Kampala regime he claimed to hate. That’s why not at any time should any of us believe people who have been henchmen of my current president including Amama Mbabazi. The man has successfully spied on Ugandans in the diaspora and in Uganda with dealings against my president and now I think these guys are either on tension or plan their way to replace Sejusa where he has been. I THANK YOU
