ANOTHER ANTI-ENVIRONMENTALIST BITES THE DUST Dems final insult: Landrieu crushed, begins a piece at Politico this morning. The Democrats recently abandoned their environmentalist supporters in order to stage a vote on the Senate floor to approve the Keystone Pipeline to help Senator Landrieu win her election, and she still lost, despite Dems selling out any remaining principles by staging the vote, which didnt pass. The Democratic faithful point to the loss of these conservative Democrats and beat their breast about losing the majority, but if it takes a combination of traditional Dems and fake Republicans to make a majority, they are fooling themselves that they have a majority. The fake Republicans will vote with the real Republicans for the real majority, as weve seen for decades. Before the Democrats can win elections, they must begin to stand for something higher than money stuffed into their pockets by defense cheats, polluters and banksters.
