AS A BELIEVER WHERE IS YOUR MIND FOCUSED? ARE YOU PREPARED TO SUFFER FOR JESUS? JESUS SAVES HEALS DELIVERS BUT WILL JUDGE ALL ALSO IN DUE SEASON!!! Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory. Colossians 3:2-4 NASB Keep your focus as a believer on Heavenly things not worldly or earthly things. When you came to Jesus Christ, you died to your flesh and previous self and put on the new man thereby hiding your new life in Jesus Christ who is God. At the Revelation of Jesus Christ in His Glory, the believer will also be revealed with Him in Jesus Name. Amen. Are you ready? Have you decided or chosen your focus? Do not be like a rudderless ship without a focus? My people perish because of a lack of vision. That is the bottom line here. Vision. Focus. Lord, Help my family, self and all believers to keep our eyes on Jesus Christ, the Author and Finisher of our faith; our Alpha and Omega! In Jesus Name. Amen!!! I have no one else like him, who takes a genuine interest in your welfare. For everyone looks out for his own interests, not those of Jesus Christ. Philippians 2:20,21 Whatsoever you do unto one of my brothers, that you do unto me! This comes into play significantly here; as the Apostle Paul commends a brother who demonstrates true love for Jesus Christ by caring for the welfare of believers. He is very much unlike most others who basically look out for number one; which is the message of the world to its own. No, not so for the beliver! Have a change of heart now! Have a heart; not just for yourself but for others too in Jesus Name. Lord, Help us. Touch our hearts afresh; so that we can put our brethrens interests in perspective to care for other than ours in Jesus Name. Amen!!! Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God. 1 Peter 4:1,2 Our Lord Jesus Christ; the One we ought to model our lives after, suffered for us in the flesh a lot! Why do we shy away from suffering in His Name? So much so that we see anyone who suffers as basically being ungodly and under some kind of punishment from God! Hmmm! What and where is the faith? When Jesus Christ returns, will He indeed meet faith on earth? In the Will of God, we must suffer in the flesh so that we do not live our lives in the flesh for worldly lusts, but rather for the Will of God! Help us o Lord to live for You in Jesus Name. Amen!!! Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel, If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole; Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it. Acts 4:8-14 KJV The Holy Spirit filled Peter the Apostle and he was moved to speak to the rulers and elders of Israel! He spoke the Gospel Message as a witness to the people! He explained to them that the miracle they had witnessed was attributable to the Lord Jesus Christ; and that only in the Name of Jesus Christ can anyone be saved. The people knew that Peter and his fellow believers had been with Jesus Christ; this was obvious to them! With the evidence of the man that had been healed, they had nothing to say against them or the miracle; as they saw that Peter and his company were unschooled ordinary men! What a Mighty God we serve. He chooses like no man does. He chooses the humblest amongst men and not the powerful and mighty! Lord Have Mercy on us in Jesus Name. Amen!!! (6) therefore, as I live, says the Lord GOD, I will prepare you for blood, and blood shall pursue you; since you have not hated blood, therefore blood shall pursue you. Ezekiel 35:6 Out of disobedience, the people loved blood and shed it freely in the land so God pronounced judgment on them in these words above.
