ASSISTANCE NEEDED FOR RESCUE!! Dover, OH (bs) This very handsome guy was known as Gator at Guernsey County Dog Shelter. Gator is now Sampson and he is one very happy guy. He is a chocolate Lab/Rottweiler mix. Sampson is only a little over a year old and as sweet as can be. He loves everyone and is very social. Sampson was pulled from Guernsey by Royalty Dog Rescue and unfortunately, he is heartworm positive. This is the 3rd dog within just a few months that the rescue has pulled from shelters that is heartworm positive. As you may know, heartworm treatment for one dog is very costly for rescues but treating 3 heartworm dogs in a row is very financially draining. If you would like to donate to help the rescue with Sampson’s treatment, they would certainly appreciate anything you can give.
