About three months ago at a planning commission meeting they were talking about the Lake classifications of Lake they referred to it is types of Lake they meant classifications they only knew two out of the three there are also three types of lakes they hadn’t a clue what that was what you do you ridicule him for lack of knowledge or do you help him out one of the commissioners was talking about Mercury he said it all comes from Canada last night I showed up at the meeting sat there for an hour and 55 minutes waited my turn printed out the material from the MPCA and showed him that the majority of the Mercury entering Coon Lake comes some the surrounding states the Dakota’s. I’m not a member of the Coon Lake improvement Association but I’m still a Lakeshore owner I still want to see what’s best for the Lake things like the planning commission meeting people need to help out the city Council voted on the storm water retrofit only two people voted for it the Mayor and councilperson Moegerle the Mayor turned to Ron Koller and said do you know what you’re doing got no answer Ron sets on the watershed committee how can somebody who sits on the watershed committee vote against something that will help Coon Lake why is our president of the Lake Association quiet about this why isn’t all the board members speaking out about this why if you have any interest at all are you not calling up Ron and asking him about his vote(763-434-9848) this affects all Lakeshore owner’s why was a newsletter not send out letting people know about this the Mayor and councilperson Moegerle can’t do it all I had a short conversation with Councilman Ronning Councilman Ronning thought that the rain gardens were a lot of work I tried to explain to him it there done right they’re not a lot of work in the end result is clean water entering the Lake Councilman Ronning is not on the watershed committee I’m not sticking up from but if you’re not on the committee and you don’t go to conferences how would you know why we helping educate everybody why is Ron Koller who sits on the committee not stepping in to help his fellow council members if you have any interest at all in the Lake read about rain gardens you’ll know they’re the best thing we have going and call your Council members and ask him why they vote the way they vote ask your board members on the Lake Association why they doing more why is a cranky old man with two kids still in high school and who’s older than dirt printing stuff up sitting at meetings and doing what they’re doing just so he can get ridiculed in front of everybody and be told is wrong and told that the high watermark was 1989 or some other stupid thing not one drop of water went over the dam in 1989 I know what the hell I’m doing can the others say the same
