About two months ago a male cat showed up at work. He had so many people asking who he belonged to because he was so friendly. Im not really a cat person but when he came inside and hopped on my lap, I simply became one! I called my granddaughter right away and told her to come and take him to the Vet to see if he had a chip. If he belonged to someone else I surely didnt want to keep him. The Vet said there was no chip in him and he was as free as a cat could be, belonging to no one. The Vet said he is 3 years old and also fixed. My granddaughter asked him, What should I tell my grandmother to do? He said, Tell her to keep him! He said this cat could get in the busy street and get hit by a car. The cat needed his shots so we took care of that then took him to a groomer where they washed him and trimmed his nails. I call him prince. My whole family loves him and Im so glad we have him. Sometimes I feel bad for whoever had him before he came to me and I looked on Craigs list and in the newspaper under lost cats but no one reported him missing. Hank said he probably ran away from home. He said the cat figured, He found one sucker he could find another one! Well now he has all of us to love him and watch him and fetch for him and protect him. He is never alone. He goes to work with me every day. I love him so much. He makes me laugh and today he rubbed his little head on my cheek. I know this is Gods way of making me realize that there is more to life than working all the time. He sent this cat to me! Ive been blessed. Hank says BS about the work and that Im not blessed, Im cursed...! Nancy.
