Acts 26:24 KJV/And as he thus spake for himself, Festus said with a loud voice, Paul, thou art beside thyself; much learning doth make thee mad. But he said, I am not mad, most noble Festus; but speak forth the words of truth and soberness. For the king knoweth of these things, before whom also I speak freely: for I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him; for this thing was not done in a corner. King Agrippa, believest thou the prophets? I know that thou believest. [Meaning: It doesnt matter what kind of status you have (janitor, lawyer etc) because the enemies of Gods people will always find fault, criticize, talk bad about, be angry with them and see them as crazy. We are not pushing religion......we are truly devoted, passionate and vigorous in our walk with and for Jesus Christ....it is to God....thanks be to God. We speak words of TRUTH and know exactly what we say. SPEAK CIVILLY TO THOSE WHO SPEAK SLIGHTLY OF US. Dont be discouraged, keep speaking to those who understand you and will listen to you that something may attach to them that they too will seek Jesus Christ or become saved. Keep speaking for the purpose of Jesus Christ no matter what others think of you or what you say when you are far wiser to know the one whose Salvation he gives FREELY. Many are ALMOST persuaded/convinced to accept Jesus Christ as their Saviour.....they have strong convictions of their duty......and the ways of God.....BUT due to their much stronger worldly affections and the pleasure of their sin....their heart was not changed because their conduct and temper are different from humility and spirituality of the gospel....they dont pursue their conviction. Therefore we must be nice/compliment them/wish them to hear.....rather PRAY FOR THEM TO BE SAVED AND TO BECOME TRUE CHRISTIANS LIKE YOURSELF.....BECAUSE GODS GRACE AND MERCY IS PLENTIFUL TO EVERYONE!......so that they can be as happy and comforted in Jesus Christ as you are. We are NOT dreamers or crazy....divine grace makes us wise unto salvation. BEWARE OF THAT FATAL HESITATION OR FAILURE TO ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOUR.....the unconverted at least acknowledge they need to change....but the half-Christian is just as far from being altogether like one who is a TRUE BELIEVER AND IS A CHRISTIAN.]
