Adapted from Tom Cannalonga (Thank you): My life, like your life, has many facets. We all have experiences, skills, gifts, talents, tastes, hope, faith, love and many other characteristics, making each of us unique. Each of us, with all our facets, is a diamond in the rough. Some of my unique facets are: being a Mom, a Wife, a Sister, a Niece, a Friend and a Mentor. I have faith, friends, affliction, passions, hope, ability, dreams, compassion, intelligence and love. I am building a career. I am moved by music, literature, art. I enjoy swimming, skiing, dancing, my dogs, scuba, biking, writing, cooking, travel, ANYTHING on the bay. My employment skills have encompassed being a sales clerk, a florist, a teacher, a medical assistant, a medical biller, a hostess, and a waitress. These facets of my life interconnect with the facets of people such as you, and all those we meet along our path who play a part in shaping and shining our facets. Some of our facets shine brighter than others… My artistic facets are dull and un-kept. My cooking skills facet is seriously shiny. My Sister facet could shine more… My career building facet is primed to crack wide open. Facets can run deep and hit areas we might rather ignore. No risk no reward. Most of our facets will reflect light in this world. We are all connected somehow.
