Name: AMBER DOB:12/14/06 Weight: approximately 13 pounds Adoption Donation: $150 Foster Location: Southern Minnesota Amber is a 7 year old sweetheart....dont let her white face fool you, shes got a lot of energy and plays like a pup! Amber is on the shy side, but she is eager to please. She does use potty pads, and she is shy of using stairs to go in and out, but is working on that fear. She loves to be outside, but would need to be picked up and carried out if there are steps involved. Amber will get a little nervous about being picked up, but if you kneel down and let her work out that nervous energy, she will slide up into your arms for lifting. Amber loves treats and is learning to take them from your hand. She thinks peanut butter is the bomb, and you will make a fast friend if you share it with her. She is learning to wear a harness but hasnt worked on walks yet. A fenced yard would be the best for her. She does well with other small dogs, she is curious about cats, but doesnt chase. She has made a cat friend at her foster home and will greet him when he comes for a visit. Amber would do well in a calm, quiet environment . She would benefit from the company from another small dog or two. She does get nervous with new situations but she does adapt. HEALTH:Amber has been spayed, has been micro-chipped, heart worm tested, and is up to date on her shots.
