Advice needed! Apologies if this is a bit long to read. I moved into this brand new house at the end of September and signed up for Internet with TPG. I waited 2 weeks for the technician to come out only to be told there is no phone line from the street to my house. A request was put into Telstra and they told me that the builder failed to lodge the proper forms to Telstra Smart Community. The builder has since filed the forms and Telstra now says the estimated line install date is January 14 2015. I have lost about $1200 in wages for waiting at home twice for a technician, spent hours on the phone with many different telstra departments and even with an extra 6GB data pack on my mobile I am so going over my quota. Telstras only offer was to provide me with a wireless phone line as an interim solution. Other than move or wait it out, what can I do?
