After almost three years Sully returns with an extensive jungle release for London’s Keysound Recordings: https://bleep/release/51555-sully-blue Whereas his debut explored the likes of footwork, juke and 2-step, Blue sees Sully take on classic jungle. The inspiration for the double EP dates back to Sully’s experience of DIY jungle parties in the early 00s, and the raw and nervous feel of Blue reflects that vibe. The crumbling sound of the breakbeats worships the work of the genre’s pioneers, but the echoing synths and hazy vocal samples make sure it doesn’t sound out of time.
