After attending last nights debate I am appalled at some of the things I witnessed. People tearing one another down when we should be building each other up. Picking on things that the Mayor has done in these last few weeks while missing that fact hes been the Mayor for 5 YEARS! I am 20 years old and I can see that this city is in a far better place than it was 5 years ago. This election is doing irrevocable damage to this city and it is disturbing. This recall election is going to set the tone for all other elections in this city down the road. Dont like em? Recall em. That is not good government. The amount of disrespect some people showed last night was just inexcusable. We can all have a difference of opinion but one thing that should never change is RESPECT. Laughing and mocking this citys mayor is just uncalled for. I guess some people just feel that a Mayor needs to be perfect when we are ALL far from perfect. I am asking all my friends out there to vote AGAINST this recall. Allow the mayor to finish this term he was elected to serve. Dont allow this election which started from people being angry about PURPLE BAGS to set the standard for elections in the future.
