After the HNS conference, Leigh and I took a few moments to honor our fannish roots. The police box is a lure in a shop across the street next to Madame Toussauds Wax Museum. Its near Baker Street so we honored the Great Detective. And noted the one-time presence of the author of The Time Machine. London is like a time machine that had horrible accident with ultra modern glass-curtain buildings being thrown up next to classic architecture. No wonder Prince Charles is so upset.
