Ahem. What I have to say next comes from a cocktail of lack of sleep, an 8+ hour drive, and a rabid train of thought. Get used to hearing two words no and never in regard to whatever it is youre chasing in life. The keyword is HEARING it. Your acceptance of either one is the true factor. A million reasons exist why your goal is trapped in No Avenue and the corner of Never Boulevard. The truly committed; the believer prepares to hear 1,000,000+ nos in the search of the ONE yes. Because like a good marriage, there is no separation or divorce from what you desire. You ride out the bad to reach an ultimate good. NEVER is only real when you accept it. When it takes root in your mind until it becomes truth. NEVER is a lie and remains a lie when you stay true to your goal and most of all; to yourself. Are you putting in total effort? Taking advantage of any and all help and opportunities? If you can truthfully answer yes to all of this; your breakthrough CAN and will happen. It wont if you lose the faith. Yesterday, I felt a number of doubts in my stomach. About more than just wrestling. These are the moments you gotta remind yourself who the hell you are. How far youve come. How much further you CAN go if you realize that just because your goal isnt NOW that it doesnt mean NEVER. Youve gotta stay ready and after it so that when it happens, its undeniable. Wrestler, doctor, mother, astronaut, student, artist, professional Ninja Turtle. I dont give a damn what you want to be. Give the core of yourself to it and you can be it! Conquer your own doubt and the physical and mental hurdles arent even a thing. Hope any of this means something to you. The obstacles are a lie. Your heart is the truth.
