Alabama Crop Production & Condition Report for the week ending Nov. 23...This years harvest is nearing an end with harvesting of cotton 88% complete, peanuts 96%, soybeans 95%. Winter wheat is 75% planted and 58% emerged. Good rainfall across Alabama brought much needed relief to winter crops though freezing temperatures caused some damage to greens, especially turnips and collards. Soil moisture levels are improved, with only 11% of the state reporting very short on moisture levels, matching a 5-year average.
