Alice Update. Alice is doing ok. She is still a little fussy but ok. We will be in the hospital at least until Friday possibly through the weekend. she has a kidney and bladder infection. They are not exactly sure on how she got it. We are waiting for the renal specialist to come see us. There could be some kidney reflux going on which put the bacteria in the bladder and back to the kidney. Basically the plumbing allowing urine to go both ways. We dont know to what extent yet or if this is a one time or something that will require more treatment. She is on an Iv with fluids to push the infection and debris from the kidneys. Assuming the antibiotics keep working and fever stays away we will switch to an oral antibiotic tomorrow then if that holds home on Friday. We appreciate all of the concern, prayers, and well wishes.
