All of you whining about zero shots on targets and shit, I agree - TopicsExpress

All of you whining about zero shots on targets and shit, I agree with you. But those who are criticising the fact that were equal on points the same as Moyes United last year despite the heavy spending, heres something to read for you: David Moyes had a consistent back 4. He had Rafael Vidic Rio Evra. His replacements were Johny Evans, Phil Jones, Alexander Buttner and Chris Smalling. And we all know how much Evans improved last season, while on his best day, Buttner almost captivated Robben from Bayern. Yes, we still had defensive issues but not as much as this season. Our midfield was the main problem, and yet we had Michael Carrick, Fletcher back to his best, Lingard(Moyes never gave youth a chance). Halfway through the season we had Juan Mata and we had every reason to play Rooney ST, Mata behind him and Januzaj and Valencia on the wings. For some reason, he also kept playing the misfiring RvP when he returned from injury. Rooney was also out for a long time. This season, we are back to the time when Evans used to play shit, Jones and Smalling would get injured too often. Onlh problem is, we have no Vidic or Rio to save us. Were playing a CDM at CB(Carrick), while the CDM we bought to replace Carrick was out with injury for most of the unbeaten-run. RvP has lost his form and Falcao isnt scoring a lot(lets admit the obvious). Our CM replacement, Herrera dropped form and then got injured I think. Evra left and his replacement, the much anticipated Luke Shaw first lacked fitness, and then got injured. Our RB came back from injury and underwent another one. This has led to the manager playing 3-5-2. The same formation that won us most games in the unbeaten run, if out of pure luck. Its only obvious hed use it again, and its not like he can predict the results. Yes LvG was at fault for a lot of things, but you cant blame him for being level on points with Moyes because all our buyings, have been injured for long courses. Falcao(hasnt scored a lot), Shaw(lacked match fitness and then injured), Blind(injured for a long time), Rojo(also injured), AdM(just returned from injury), Herrera(dropped match fitness but now back). With the list of injuries weve had, were lucky to be where we are. Yesterdays match was a disaster. But you cant call your manager clueless after one match.
