All these feelings I have about this Ferguson case are very sensitive. Basically I just wished it didnt have to be about race, but about quality of life. A human life was taken. But I live in America where women havent even been able to vote for a hundred years yet, and minorities are still treated less because white people chose to enslave them. And no matter what I do or who i love or how I see people, most of the country separates itsself, whites, blacks, and every ethic sect. The media really and honestly being the monster that tells people this is how to deal with these things. With that being said, its a shame that one human being can kill another human being and not get in trouble, its also a shame that because of this the young people of this town are revolting because they now feel scared for their lives from the one group of people you are supposed to be able to go to for anything. What really boils my blood is there is more fear in police than assurance. We pay taxes for several reasons, and one is to sign the checks of these men and women so they can serve and protect. And as it is with every single thing in this world, not all but most use this power for less than quality reasons. I really dont think some people realize how scary powerful being allowed to kill under the protection of law is, and how trigger happy this country can be, literal and metaphorical. But an eye for an eye still makes the whole world blind, but man. This hate I see and this America I see, just simply choosing to stay ignorant on all sides of the spectrum really saddens my heart. I do feel there is a white privilege, and if you dont see it, then you choose to not see it. It goes much deeper than you can realize.
