Am I the only one whos at constant war with themselves? Its your brain against your heart. You want to be strong and stay happy, but you keep tempting yourself to go look at their profile to see if they miss you. News flash: they dont. They probably never will. You have to accept reality and you have to know that things will never be the same way. Dont torture yourself by always trying to see their posts. Itll hurt you in the long run. Youll never move on if you keep revolving yourself around in a little cycle of sadness. Everything will get better only if you want it to. It can only get better if youre hard on yourself. Block them if you need to. Block whoever theyre with now. Dont keep getting sucked into this black hole of emotions. Once youre in, it feels nearly impossible to get out of. Its like youre chained to a wall and the room is just spinning. You feel sick and you just want it to stop. You just want everything to go away. Well you cant get better if you keep sticking around to see what happens next. So what if theyre happy without you? Theyre making room in your life for someone who cant be happy without you. You should be thanking whoever broke your heart because by them leaving, it proves theyre not right for you and that you can do better. You should thank them for guiding you in the direction of happiness and reassure them that they wont be on that path with you. Dont let someone immature ruin you. Once they know they have power, theyll just make you hurt more. All I can really say is that youre not alone when it comes to moving on. Giving up and moving on are two different things. Oh and one more thing, if you have anything of theirs; jackets, necklaces, bracelets, anything, DO NOT WEAR THEM. Youll just be in even more pain. Trust me. Ive learned this the hard way. Although, the jackets or whatever may be comfortable or cute, or anything, youre only hurting yourself. Just put everything away and dont touch it. Love hurts. Its like getting shot in the chest with a paint ball when all youre wearing is a tank top. Love also leaves a mark the way paint balls leave paint splatters or welts. But itll go away with time. Just out on your bullet proof vest and load your guns. Its time for war.
