Amsterdam with John, before & after pics, funny, I was the designated guide, and he had to buy this hat, and we still have it! But its not all about coffee shops & the Red Light district----They all speak English and are friendly & fun .Love to book an apt. and try and figure out all their appliances and transit.---We went to the Keukenhof Gardens, the Anne Frank, Rijks, & Van Gogh Museums, cheese & wooden shoe shops, I still have my wooden shoes, the towns of Marken, Volendam & Edam, put my feet in the Nord Sea, brought some sand & shells home, saw the dikes. Windmills, canal rides and all the birds were nesting at the time. And they love their cats!The gift shop with a shelf and a post please do not disturb, the cat sleeps here. And the cat that was snoozing outside of a shop, woke up and walked into the bakery next door---it was a no worries kind of thing. But my fav is the park with the big letters I Amsterdam, we were having lunch and a pigeon shit on his head! It also happened to him in Sienna, Italy-----too funny (only to me) .So many fun time&, memories with him. We never book a tour, we just do it on our own. Enjoy life, it is so very short!
