An old bloke tried to scare and intimidate me yesterday. A while ago, in fact a good 2 years ago, I witnessed him reverse into another persons car, and he watched me help the woman he run in to write down his rego number so she could report the accident to police. Ever since he has verbally abused me every time he’s seen me, he has even come in to my work and abused me there... every time I just politely but assertively tell him to leave me alone and that his behaviour is inappropriate... I’m not interested in having an argument with a senile, arrogant old man no matter how much he deserves it. Yesterday as I was walking to the supermarket in the car park he purposefully pulled right in close to me as he drove up past be from behind, I turned, startled as the nose of his car came would have brushed my hand if I had put my hand out; he had a big smirk on his face... I wanted to give him an earful for his stupid, childish behaviour and continued attempts to harass me, but I just shook my head. This is as much a judgement of my character as it is of his. I can’t be coerced in to giving you the satisfaction of reacting the same way you do sir. I won’t lose my temper or my cool because I’m a bigger ‘man’ that you will ever be you old, narcissistic grump, because I’m not ashamed of the fact that I did the right thing, and I’m happy to be held accountable for my actions and deal with the consequences...it’s a shame that at your age, you can’t do the same thing, or at least act with a little decorum instead of harassing a young woman at every opportunity for 2 years... shame on you. End rant. Lol.
