And The Times reports that Joseph Muscat said ...that it was ironic that these celebrations were being led by Labour as the Labour Party had, for many years, resisted, criticised and maybe tried to fight independence and freedom… These were comedies of the past and everyone, including the other side, was guilty. I love the fact that the other side is guilty--of what may I ask? Of keeping the day alive in our memories? Of being attacked for saying that the day was sort of special? Half baked apologies are always rather scary.
