And it was a family affair. FINALLY :) Even though Blaze didnt want to be rehooked to the wagon, or pull the hill around the corner, with some coaxing from a couple other horses, she did it. The kids had to take turns riding and Lizzy even had to double up with me for a bit. But we have some dang good horses. Theyll just get better, along with my little riders who found out, Oh, so maybe we do need instruction because we cant handle every horse in any situation. Actually Liz overcame her fear of being on the back of a horse. (As in the back end with someone else in the saddle) She had a bad experience with that once. Was fun and an eye opener. Im ready to go do it again. This was the first time Ive been able to put the kids on horses and take them off the farm. We all loved it! So happy with the choices Ive made in the new the horses weve acquired. Titus, Dusty, and Dixie took good care of our babies. And after Blazes initial refusals, she did amazing too. Now to get Mason broke so Blaze can have a teammate when needed. Pics are from before and after the ride. (I had too many horses and youngins to watch to take pics during the ride.)
