And last night I saw Die Walküre and Siegfried at https://facebook/RingDesNiebelungenSagaenOmRingen?ref=stream&hc_location=stream . 5 hours of Wagner music almost like a full Wagner opera. The same singer (Stig Fogh Andersen, who is also the director of the whole production) sang both Siegmund in Die Walküre and Siegfried - what a performance! It was an incredible experience in this not very large church. Also the other singers were just perfect. In particular Bo Kristian Jensen as Mime was so clear, that I could understand the whole text. But maybe this is an unfair comparison, because the orchestra is playing rather low during his parts. But I have to admit, I still prefer Die Walküre over Siegfried. Tonight then Die Götterdämmerung - in a church - quite interesting combination!
