Angel’s Rest is small cat rescue in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Formed in September 2013 and solely funded by good willing people from around the world. They have tried to respond to many please for help during the summer of 2013. They ended up with number of special needs cats in veterinary clinic. SADLY, they had NO OPTION other than to put them BACK ON THE STREETS when their treatment was over. But thanks to Linda Gregory proposing the idea of renting a place where to be used to house these DESPERATELY NEEDY CATS UNTIL THEIR ADOPTION. THANKFULLY, all of the desperate summer cats got their 2ND CHANCE and many other cats found safety and love under their care. Bosnia is harsh country which is ONLY 1 STEP AWAY from repeating Romanian scenario with their stray dogs population. Their MASCOT is Angela, brave little fighter whose name we proudly carry last six months. Angela was found in the city market, barely catching her breath. The vets desperately tried to restore her organs after A CRUEL PERSON had punched her so hard in her stomach that all her organs penetrated into lungs. SHE DIESD A FEW DAYS LATER :-( They devoted all of our time, energy and love in attempts to save them, help them heal, socialize and learn about safe, indoor life. This RESCUE struggles to keep all their furry charges safe. They continuously and desperately need help to keep this rescue rolling.
