Another moment, another hour, another year of life has arrived. I am SO very thankful I have experienced love and heartache, true friendship and seasonal acquaintances, thankful I am wise enough to know who my strength comes from, thankful for my mistakes and the humility to say Im sorry, thankful for my victories and battles and so thankful God has allowed me to experience the gift of life---which is so very precious. As I type, I cant help but think about the life of Nefeterius Akeli McPherson. Her legacy has greatly impacted my spirit and I am reminded to live every moment with purpose, cherish the small things in life that I often take for granted, happiness is MY choice and I should choose it everyday and most importantly, what have I done to make someone smile today. I am overwhelmed that God has blessed me to be a Wife and a Mother to 2 incredible people--then he placed friendships in my life that have cultivated for more than 25 years to as recent as 6 months--I am healthy, on a new professional journey as an entrepreneur and am proud to receive a card from my Mother that says I am her Daughter and her Friend. Thanks to everyone for the beautiful b-day post, text messages and phone calls. Everyday in life should be celebrated and I plan to turn in up a notch moving forward:-). My Sweetpie Hubby and Bestie/FLUENT Jack Son organized a wonderful bday brunch at Brian Williams new restaurant The Establishment (a must see) and Shana Anderson captured the perfect pictures (coming soon). Everything was just...perfect---especially the presence of the beautiful people in the room who came to celebrate with me. Thank you all from the deepest and most sincere place in my heart.
