My dearest one, How do I say Its all gonna be ok? When I cant give you what you want? Ive given to the point of exhaustion. To the end of my means. Weve been through the worst of the worst. Yet, you still cant see Ive been there. All along. Holding your hand and your heart, In mine. Sharing in your accomplishments. Grieving in your losses. Offering what I can, when I can, All that I am capable of bestowing on you, To accompany you in this lifes cold, hard journey, Down the path of learning. What else can I do for you? Tears fill my eyes, ache floods my soul, Watching as you swat my small gifts of love, Like they are a pestilence, trying to suck your soul away. I only mean to comfort, guide nuturing your torrid soul, Never wanting to misguide or enable you in your time of struggle. Ive done what I can, for now. The rest is up to you.
