I know many of you might not like my Faith in Christ. But, I know God loves all people. I have no intentions to attack anyone. But, I want to share some experience today. Some Jehovahs Witnesses stop by my door (a male and female). I tell them that I studied to be a preacher. And, I have all my life when I share the Bible with them their members will get angry at me. They say that they have some good news to share. I say thats good but I have history where when they come they get angry and leave. I thought I would warn you in advance. They say they are still coming. I said that well let me share that I warned you. They discuss with me about if I believe the dead will rise someday. I ask them with or without Jesus. They end up saying some questions. Then they start beating around the bush. I then said ok... lets discuss the responds. Do you really understand the laws of Spirits or laws of Flesh? They say yes. I than asked them why are they so focused on the book or their daily lives. They start talking about coming to the neighbors. I then ask if they can look up either Hebrews 10:8 or Hebrews 8:10. I couldnt remember but Hebrews 10:8 shows that Christ is the perfect sacrifices if we look at Hebrews 10:10. This gives us a great understanding how Christ frees us. Then I ask to look at Hebrews 10:8. I then say thats the one. Can you tell me what it means? The guy responds that God put the laws in the minds. I then said OK do you understand what that means? The guy was trying hard not to get upset but giving me a smiling face. I tell him it could be God who send you to me. The guy said we are going out giving the good news. I said well the Bible is the good news. But, Jesus said to let the dead bury the dead (Luke 9:60, Matt 8:22). He then said we came to you. I said that lets discuss the Rock that Peter announced. I would like you to see if it was Christ or a Living God who taught Peter. The guy got upset. He said that he was giving positive information and I was giving negative information. I do not think I said anything negative. I then said that I gave the truth and that is negative? I then share that Joseph Smith found an angel in the 1800s. He interrupted saying that your confusing us with Mormons. I said maybe. And, the Seventh Day Adventists found some vision in the 1800s. I believe the Jehovahs Witnesses did similar in the 1900s. He looked confused there. I said that your teachings focus on avoiding the pagans not having a relationship (Acts 17:23). But, since 1800s there were many new religious that changes the meaning of a good thing. The guy tells me that he is going out and doing work to share good news about the dead will rise. He is doing work from the Bible. But, I said whose work. He said the work of the Bible. I tell him, didnt Hebrew 8:10 say the laws were written in your mind and your heart could be wicked but with those laws in mind you do good things. I then ask what about the work of the Spirit. He said we are doing that. I ask him if you were doing work of the spirit. Then I asked him to explain what Hebrews 8:10 mean. He kept repeating what the Bible signed. I repeat what does that mean. He signed the same thing again. I said you should know what it means. It might mean you came to me because of Gods work. He looked at me as if I was joking. I said no. Gods work is different than how we think of it. I then said open your Bible and show me the verse where Peter said the Rock. He interrupted but I am doing something for the people. I then stressed look in the Bible and tell me who did Jesus tell Peter of who taught him? Did the Bible say Jesus or ... a Living God taught him? I know he was angry, but trying hard not to show it. He then says your information is negative. I do not understand how the truth is negative (Matt 10:22-23, John 15:26). I said are you asking me to say a lie as positive? His frustration increased, but he tries hard to keep a smiling face. He pushes the girl out with him. He says your negative and I am positive. I then said, I said that I shared the truth and that is negative? He looked at me like he was confused and said I did not say the truth is negative. I then added that didnt I warn you in the begining that if I share the Bible truth and you will leave angry. You will not want to come back. He walks out. I say, May God bless you. It just makes me sad how people living in a man made belief will practice the Bible in the way they use it and do not understand what they are doing. Please be careful with these visitors who are actually trying to control you in the wrong way. I know many people might not realize that I was a Christian. Maybe did not realize I was a preacher. They dress in white to cover their shame in the way the Jehovahs Witnesses guy tried hard to smile and had anger in his heart (Revelation 3:18).
