Anybody else noticing the series of assaults on the Food Security Bill by brilliant personalities such as Swaminatha Aiyer and Chetan Bhagat? Right wing Economic libertarianism, and Ayn Rand crappola has finally arrived in India. We now have to battle these guys every time they write carefully co-ordinated attacks on "redistributive policies". All that I remember about Chetan Bhagat is his hilarious claim that Arvind Kejriwal and the anti-corruption movement were somehow mindless attacks on the rich. Missed the point completely.
