Here’s what our students are saying about their experience so far at the College this year: Saint Katherine College is a unique environment in the way it gives you the opportunity to expand academically and spiritually. In the first weeks of being on campus, it has become apparent that students will go through a transformation of, as described by Professor Gilbert, becoming fully human. I must wake up every day of my life and change for God. Being a Christian is not a one-time deal; it is an ongoing process that not even through a lifetime one could perfect. However, growth is still possible and, no matter how painstakingly slow this progress can be, it is still good in Gods eyes. Since my spiritual life is so ingrained within the other aspects of my life, my growth academically is merely an offshoot of my growth as a Christian. I must not compartmentalize myself as an individual, and I shall see everything, including academics, through the lens of Christianity. This means that instead of looking at a college degree as merely a tool used to get a job, I can instead see it as an opportunity to help others, and see every experience during my college years as a building block that further strengthens the foundation of my Christian faith.
