“Are we like fools?” Binhi sang Pagtuo March 31, 2014 Dear Friends, Greetings! Tomorrow, April 1, is April Fools Day. People would pull some pranks and play practical jokes on you. Going back to the Bible, what does it say about fools? First, you are a fool if you do not believe in God. Psalm 14:1, “The fool says in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good.” Second, you are a fool if you do not want to learn. Proverbs 17:16, “It is senseless to pay money to educate a fool, since he has no heart for learning.” Proverbs 12:15, “Fools think their own way is right, but the wise listen to others.” Third, you are a fool if your sense of morality is distorted. Proverbs 10:23, “Doing wrong is fun for a fool, but living wisely brings pleasure to the sensible.” Fourth, you are a fool if you are arrogant. Proverbs 18:2, “Fools have no interest in understanding; they only want to air their own opinions.” Fifth, you are a fool if you cannot control your temper. Proverbs 12:16, “A fool is quick-tempered, but a wise person stays calm when insulted.” Sixth, you are a fool if you do not respect your parents.
