Artist Impressions of Anjeed Kafanhan Solar Project Released Kafanchan, Kaduna State, Nigeria – 28 April, 2014 – Anjeed Kafanchan Solar has released artist impressions of the Two-Phase 15MW Anjeed Kafanchan Solar Project planned for Zikpak, Kafanchan, Kaduna State, Nigeria. Phase 1 of the Project will involve the installation of PV solar panels and associated equipment for the 10MW system. Phase 2 will see the facility expand out with the addition of a further 5MW, bringing the total site capacity to 15MW. The Anjeed Kafanchan Solar Project will be the first grid-connected solar power plant in Nigeria and is another step to fulfill Anjeed Innova Group’s vision to fill the gap in the country’s power needs by focusing on renewable energy development. There are 250,000 people living within the area that will be touched by this project. Anjeed Kafanchan Solar, an indigenous independent power company, will bring them access to clean, renewable and stable power through this pilot project.
