As I was struggling with fabric requirements for Swing Time, I - TopicsExpress

As I was struggling with fabric requirements for Swing Time, I wondered if anyone else has tried this: Im going to take a huge, poster-sized piece of graph paper (available at office supply stores) that has one inch squares printed on it. Cut out a fat quarter-sized piece and figure out what shapes and sizes I can cut from that, then will do the same with a 1/4 yard-size and a 1/3-yard size. Sure is a lot easier than MATH. Math is a four-letter word that I dont always get along with.... After typing this, I realize you could also do this with small graph paper with 1/4 squares, but it would be more difficult to draw out 1/2 cuts, right? In this case, I think bigger WILL be better?
