As a hotel room attendant, I get paid $11.25 per hour. Were expected to clean a hotel room in 30 minutes. So, we get paid $5.62 to turn a filthy room into a spotless room. I checked the hotels website, and it says rates from $120. If the hotel bumped that up just a tiny little bit, so the rates were from $124.37, we hotel room attendants could be getting paid $20 per hour. The hotel owners would probably laugh at the idea of a room attendant getting paid that much, but I bet if they tried to clean rooms for even one day, theyd be crying like little babies.
