As our neighborhood has grown rapidly over the years, it has become apparent that there are homes that are not taken care of that well, and that makes the surrounding homes not look good as well. As families are trying to sell their homes, they are finding problems because of nearby streets that have homes that are dilapidated, junk in the yards, torn blinds, and broken fences. Anderson Mill was once viewed as the neighborhood to live in, and now its becoming old and run down. Many of the homes near Westwood High School have turned into rentals, and the landlords are not keeping up with the landscaping and overall upkeep of the residences. With this organization, we will regularly update the landlords on the status of these homes, and notify homeowners who are continuously leaving out trash and debris. It is important to all of us who live in Anderson Mill to protect our neighborhood, and to maintain what was was considered the place to live.
