As the season of Goodwill approaches, we’d like to take this opportunity to launch our new fundraising project for Circus Kathmandu. As many of your will remember Circus Kathmandu are an incredible group of young people most of whom were sold into circuses in India as youngsters. These are young people who want to continue to perform and want to be able to spread awareness about the ranges of human trafficking. With the heart-warming support of volunteers (and skeleton staff) weve achieved so much. We know the idea works- to turn turn around the lives of vulnerable young people - and we reached the incredible goal of bringing them, as a professional company, to the UK for Glastonbury festival this year - where they were met with standing ovations for every show. Just like any fledgling company, in order to get solid foundations, they need investment. This season, whilst you are scratching your head wondering what you could give to that member of your family you only see once a year, what you could ethically buy for your office secret Santa, or maybe even as a business what you would like to do to show the spirit of your organisation, if there is one thing you could give this Christmas, please let it be helping this group of young people build a future for themselves and a safe future for other young people in their country.
