As we spend time in our Christian walk with Christ Jesus, studying - TopicsExpress

As we spend time in our Christian walk with Christ Jesus, studying the teaching of so many before us, as we attempt to understand our justification for salvation, God gives inspiration; “The lesson we learn from all this is that Christian maturity properly understood does not cut the nerve for aspiration for a greater degree of Christlikeness. Instead, it will whet one’s appetite to be more like Christ Jesus. In other words, proper spiritual growth into proper spiritual maturity only makes one desire more of Christ, in effect, installing even a greater hunger and thirst for more of the Lord”. Kenneth Wuest stated like this; “The spiritual maturity spoken of here is as we have seen, not a state of sinlessness or flawlessness, but one of completeness, of a well-rounded Christian character, a state opposite of spiritual infancy”
